How information is received, used and protected through the Navigate Capital public website and initial private enquiry path.
Who receives an enquiry
Navigate Advisory Group receives and prepares the initial public enquiry relationship for Navigate Capital. If a relationship progresses, the relevant investment vehicle, transaction entity, service provider and engagement-specific data responsibilities will be identified in the appropriate documents.
Information you choose to provide
We receive information you deliberately submit, including your name, work email, organisation or business, location, selected relationship path and enquiry context.
The service may also process technical information required to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser and device information, request logs and security events.
Prepare, respond and protect
We use enquiry information to assess and prepare a response, understand the business or relationship you are contacting us about, route the enquiry to appropriate people, maintain suitable records, protect the service and meet applicable obligations.
An enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing. If a different use requires consent, we will ask separately.
Limited, relevant access
Information may be shared only with Navigate personnel, approved providers or relevant specialists who need it to evaluate, secure or respond to the enquiry.
A later acquisition, investment, diligence or advisory process will use its own confidentiality, access and data-handling arrangements. Information is not automatically shared across portfolio companies or external partners.
The initial form is not a data room
We apply access controls and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service is completely secure.
Do not submit trade secrets, privileged material, identity documents, customer records, detailed financial information, regulated personal data or other highly sensitive material through the initial website form. If a relationship progresses, we can establish an appropriate agreement and channel.
Where information may be processed
Information may be processed in Australia, the United States or other locations used by approved hosting, security, communications and operating providers. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use providers and controls appropriate to the information and purpose.
Keep information only as long as needed
We retain enquiry information only for as long as needed to assess and respond, maintain relationship and decision continuity, protect the service, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.
Privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you supplied, subject to applicable legal, transaction, security and recordkeeping requirements.
Use the private enquiry form, select “Another opportunity” and identify the request without adding further sensitive information. Keep your enquiry reference where available.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice as the public service, providers or legal responsibilities change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
